Recurring Weekly Volunteer Opportunities:
Tuesday Folder Stuffers – Every Tuesday morning, parent volunteers are needed to stuff all those important papers that go home every week! No need to RSVP, just check in at the front office after morning drop-off, then head to the tables just outside the main office.

Re-shelving Library Books – Mrs. Smith, our librarian, needs help re-shelving library books every week. A total of approximately 5 hours of volunteer time are needed each week. Currently, Mrs. Smith is using her Saturday to re-shelve books – let’s help give her the weekend back! Volunteers are welcome to schedule a time with Mrs. Smith via email.
Yearbook Photos – Help us fill our yearbook with great photos! We are always looking for help photographing our fun family events, so if you’ll be attending any of our events and want to help by taking photographs, please sign up!

Dad’s Club Carpool Line Help – Stark dad’s are encouraged to help open car doors every Friday morning in carpool. No need to RSVP, just show up at 7:10 and check in with Mr. Caplin at the crosswalk. Contact, Dad’s Club Chair, with questions at [email protected], and to get involved in Dad’s Club.

PTA Volunteers are ALWAYS Needed!
Everyone has a skill to share and there is simply no volunteer role too small or too bigl! We want you to be an active part of our school – and we are just so thrilled that you want to help out at Stark in a way that best suits you, your time schedule, and your family. Whether you like to work with kids one on one in tutoring and/or mentoring roles; reading to students; stuffing Tuesday folders; making copies for teachers; helping out with book fairs and PTA events; doing data entry work in the office; taking photos at school events for the annual yearbook; tutoring small groups of children; helping out with the annual PTA auction; assisting with monitoring students during lunch; creating fliers; or doing Spanish translation … we for sure have a need that fits your time, abilities, and interests!
Remember, helping out Stark students in some capacity with the PTA doesn’t only support school wide goals and initiatives, but your participation in ongoing activities allows you a chance to feel more connected to your child and the school. Involvement in the PTA gives you, as the parent, an opportunity to learn more about the school, staff, events, and community. You’d be amazed at how many new neighborhood and community friends our parents make being involved at the school! Plus, studies continue to show that when parents and kids feel connected and integrated into the school environment … students perform better socially, emotionally, and academically!
